Ardent-Group - Gaming1 and Ardent-Invest (May 2018 - December 2021)

Senior Project Manager Treasury

Ardent-Group (www.ardent-group.com and www.gaming1.com) is a family owned multinational corporate active in the gaming and entertainment area (brand name: Gaming1) , where they are a leading player in Belgium. They are currently further expanding and internationalizing. In this framework, I have managed  the project to rationalize and automate their treasury, implementing the Kyriba solution and setting up their In-House Bank.  

I have also managed a project on the Transfer Pricing, and one on the rationalization of the collections of their online gaming business. 

I also manageed a project of Ardent-Invest, a sister company, to develop Transfer1 SA to become a payment service provider and in a later stage to become an EMI (Electronic Money Institution).


SafeTrade Holding S.A. : (April 2018 - end-2022)

Co-Founder and responsable for Finance. Safe Car Trade aims to develop a platform of services which facilitate the sale of used cars and trucks. In a first stage, we have developed the certification of used cars and the secure payment solution. Due to COVID19, the project was discontinued,  and we redeployed the activities of SafeTrade Holding in the area of consultative services to automative and other industries.


Isabel Group / Ibanity (September 2017- May 2018)

Senior Expert -Business Development at IBanity part of Isabel Group: 

My long term assignment (4 days/week) covers following areas

  • Product and sales management of the PSD2 and API offering of iBanity part of Isabel Group. This includes amongst others the consultancy on the further development of the offering, the participation to the marketing of the offering, including the sales material, the sales approach, the pricing, the drafting of offers, the sales management, the participation to tenders & RFPs, the prospection and all other consultancy and actions agreed upon with Isabel
  • The consultancy for the other activities of Isabel, including the sounding board and provision of the input of the users (mainly (mid)-corporate and institutional clients), and all other consultancy and actions agreed upon with Isabel.

Maltese-UK bank with subsidiary in Belgium: PSD2 project together with Azzana Consulting (August - December 2017): 

Phase 1 of the PSD2 project: compliance aspects and opportunities of and for the bank, including mapping of the "as is" and "to be" and the translation of the gap in business analysis. This assignment covers amongst others the payment processes, the General Terms and Conditions and the high Level gap analysis regarding API and Regulatory Technical Standards on strong customer authentication, and recommendations of new services.


Large multinational industrial group, active in over 20 countries and listed at Euronext Brussels : treasury quick scan (May-June 2017): 

Full treasury quick scan with a focus on following topics: 

  • Reduction of the number of bank accounts
  • Improvement of the cash flow forecasting process
  • Improvement of the FX management
  • Bank relationship management
  • Organization and staffing treasury department 


Large automotive distributor (owning several dealerships) - consulting in treasury and working capital management reorganisation 

  • Audit of the current treasury and working capital management processes, including treasury & finance, cash management, Order to cash, Purchase to pay and balance sheet optimisation
